Soul Hawaii - also known as Hawaiian Soul

Michael Cobb, Lead Singer

I was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, and have been singing all my life. I was a member of the United States Marine Corps where I continued to perform across the United States and in Japan. While I was stationed in Maryland, I won the Army’s National talent contest and was offered the opportunity to perform on Army Bases around the world. I came to Hawaii in the late 80s and found a love for the local music scene.

I have opened for artists like Shaka Khan, the Drifters and ABBA. I sang for the pro Bowl festivities and in October 2012, I had the honor and pleasure of singing our nation’s National Anthem for the Detroit Lions NFL football team.
